From June of 2006 to March of 2024 I worked in several capacities at Grace Community Church in Boulder City, Nevada: As Children's and Youth Ministries Director for eleven years, Director of Music Ministries for 5 years and Associate Pastor for seven years. During the pandemic I produced over a hundred worship videos for our stay-at-home members so that they could continue to participate in the life of the church. During that time I produced many of my music videos shown on this website.
From August of 2017 to March of 2020 I formed and directed the Interfaith Peace Choir of Southern Nevada. Composed of people from different faith traditions (Christian, Jewish, Earth-based traditions, etc.) we regularly performed at interfaith gatherings around the Las Vegas valley performing a variety of choral pieces from many different faith traditions as well as some of my own choral pieces and pieces written by members of the choir.
I have many composed works including orchestral film cues, chamber music, choral works, guitar and vocal solos and instrumental solos. I am interested in collaborating with other church or non-profit groups with a strong commitment to social justice issues, a passion for enlivening the inner life of others through contemplative practices, and a commitment to interfaith dialogue. "The Feminine Journey."
The Feminine Journey references the ancient Greek myth of Eros and Psyche, and using that grand story as a template, explores the spiritual journey of a current modern day woman, Fiona. It contains an hour of original compositions used to express the different stages of Fiona's life and her struggles to reach a sense of wholeness throughout the challenges of pre- and post-adolescent maidenhood, her relationships with others, to the sacred, through aging and finally finding wholeness of self. The Feminine Journey is available as a day-long seminar for women to explore their own feminine journey and their relationship with the Sacred. Further Travels
In August of 2019 I traveled to London and recorded a collection of songs entitled, "Beloved" at Abbey Road Studios. Beloved is a collection of my written works that I am currently performing. The following month I went on mission to Outer Mongolia and experienced a wonderful adventure with the growing community of believers there. I am indebted to them for their warm and loving hospitality, the inspiration of their faith, and their example of dedication and loyalty to our loving Father/Mother in Heaven.
In June of 2024 I traveled to Sicily for the first time, but not the last! I look forward to more restful and rejuvinating moments at the edge of the Mediterranean!
In January of 2026, I gave a benifit concert for Emergency Aid of Boulder City, a local food bank for people experiencing food scarcity. We were able to raise over $2000.00 for Emergency Aid! You can watch the concert on my video page!
